Land Development Corporation to develop residential land
Because of the gap in the market, the Territory Government will play a direct role in providing more affordable housing.
The Territory Government will expand the role of the NT Land Development Corporation (LDC). In addition to LDC’s role in industrial land development, the corporation will:
- oversee urban projects such as residential and affordable housing development
- work with the private sector to provide new innovative and affordable housing development
